I believe we were created to create.

My journey into leathercraft started with a simple idea: to make a thoughtful, handmade gift for someone special. What began as one project grew into a love for working with my hands, taking something simple and raw and slowly turning it into something useful, beautiful, and personal.

There is a particular joy in the process of making: choosing the materials, working through the details, and seeing an idea take shape. What I love most about leathercraft is the opportunity to create something that is uniquely yours. Whether it’s a personalised name, an initial, or simply the way a piece develops its own character over time, every item has the potential to become part of someone’s story.

The name Abide comes from the idea of taking a moment to stay. Life can be complicated and busy. But there is something special about choosing to abide in a moment. To slow down, be present, and appreciate the simple things. To notice the details in the smell of leather, the feel of the grain, the texture beneath your hands, and the little marks that make something uniquely yours.

That is what I hope Abide Leather can be about: creating thoughtfully, using things slowly, and finding joy in the simple.

Each piece is crafted by hand and made to be used, enjoyed, and carried with you through everyday life. And as it ages, it becomes a little more personal, carrying a little of your story with it.
